Suggested set-up¶

Workspace¶

Air cleanliness¶

It is recommended to handle and inspects XO-STRUCT-12UT parts in a cleanroom environment of at least ISO Class 7 (Class 10 000) or better to limit parts contamination during inspection.

Worktop¶

It is necessary to inspect XO-STRUCT-12UT parts on a clean and soft surface to prevent surface damages on the part surfaces (ESD cleanroom mat or equivalent).

Lighting¶

It is recommended to inspect XO-STRUCT-12UT parts with an Incident Light Level of at least 1000 lm/sqm (NASA PRC-5001).

Personal Protective Equipment¶

Face mask and hairnet¶

Face masks and hairnets should be used during flight part inspection and integration to reduce the contamination of parts.

Gloves¶

Dust free gloves (nitrile, lint-free, etc.) are recommended to handle the XO-STRUCT-12UT parts to reduce the contamination of parts.
